Ask the assistants about your industry. See whose name comes up.
We put your customers’ questions to the major AI assistants, repeatedly, and record who gets cited and what’s said about you — including where they’re wrong. That last part is usually the more urgent finding.
In short: a defined set of questions, run across the major assistants enough times to see past session variation, with the results written down. You get who is cited for what, what the assistants believe about you, and where those beliefs come from — plus a plain statement of what this method can and can’t measure.
What the audit reports
Whether you appear at all
Per question, per assistant, across repeated runs. Answers vary between sessions, so a single check tells you nothing — the pattern across many is the finding.
Who gets named instead
Often not the competitors you’d expect. Directories, marketplaces and review sites are cited heavily, which changes where the work should go.
What they say that’s wrong
Outdated services, a location you left, pricing from three years ago, a claim about you that came from somewhere you’ve forgotten. This is the section clients act on first.
Where the answers came from
Which sources the assistants cited. That list tells you whether the gap is on your own site or in the places that write about you.
What this method cannot tell you
Stated up front, because the market for this is full of dashboards implying precision that doesn’t exist.
There is no ranking to report — assistants write a paragraph and cite a few sources, and that selection varies by user, session and phrasing. Traffic from assistants is not visible the way search traffic is, and referrals are attributed inconsistently. So this is a repeated sample, described as one. Anyone presenting an “AI ranking position” is presenting something they cannot see.
Fix the corrections before the gaps
Being absent from an answer costs you an opportunity. Being described incorrectly costs you a customer who thought they knew something about you. Wrong claims almost always trace back to a stale directory listing, an old page you forgot was published, or a third-party profile nobody has updated in years — all fixable in days, unlike visibility.
How it runs
We agree the question set with you — what your customers would actually type, not keyword variations. Those run across the major assistants, repeated enough times to be meaningful. You get a written report with the raw answers included, so you can read what was said rather than take our summary of it. Re-running the same set later is what makes a comparison possible, so the question set is designed to be reused rather than improvised.

What would your customer ask an AI assistant?
Give us ten of those questions and we’ll come back with who gets named, what’s said about you, and which of it is out of date.
Whether the major assistants mention you when asked the questions your customers would ask, who they name instead, what they claim about you, and which sources they cite. It is run repeatedly rather than once, because answers vary between sessions and a single check tells you nothing.
Can you report our ranking in AI answers?
No, because there is no ranking. Assistants write a paragraph and cite a few sources, and that selection varies by user, session and phrasing. Assistant traffic is also not visible the way search traffic is. This audit is a repeated sample and we describe it as one — anyone presenting a precise AI ranking position is presenting something they cannot actually see.
What should we fix first?
Anything the assistants say about you that is wrong. Being absent costs an opportunity; being described incorrectly costs a customer who thought they knew something about you. Incorrect claims almost always trace to a stale directory listing, a forgotten published page, or a third-party profile nobody has updated — all fixable in days, unlike visibility.
Can the audit be repeated to show progress?
Yes, and that is why the question set is designed to be reused rather than improvised each time. Running the same questions with the same method is what makes a later comparison mean anything. Some months nothing will have moved, and the report will say so.
