      Job Context:

      We are looking for a copywriter to become a part of our Abedin Tech team. The copywriter has to write and change up communications with the correct tone of voice and intent, as well as any legal and compliance requirements that have been set. They are expected to create content for digital and direct mail marketing, review the work done by other members of the team, and seek approvals from key partners. Along with working on other projects all year long and performing yearly assessments of automated messages, the copywriter is also responsible for scheduling, managing, and monitoring campaigns. This candidate also works directly with our process managers, brand and digital partners, and leadership to ensure that work is completed on schedule.

      Job Responsivilities:

      • Create and maintain customer support communications for direct mail and digital platforms.
      • Monitor and track campaigns throughout the creative process, providing guidance and influence as needed.
      • Maintain and update templates and tools according to the brand’s specifications.
      • Proofread peer articles and offer editorial and design suggestions.
      • Ensure that communications are in line with corporate policies and procedures, and keep internal audit document files.
      • Communicate creative information and schedules to all important parties.
      • Deliver quality work on schedule and with exceptional attention to detail.
      • Collaborate with the project manager and the design resource to manage and finish many projects simultaneously.
      • Ensure that copy and marketing deliverables follow brand requirements.
      • Maintain brand voice and tone standards across different consumers and market sectors.
      • Present to leaders and, if necessary, secure their agreement.
      • Build and maintain cross-functional connections with key stakeholders.
      • Take part in the diversity, equity, and inclusion program’s aims, follow them, and show support for them.

      Skill & Experience:

      • 2+ years experience.
      • A skilled storyteller and trend setter with a keen eye for detail and impeccable grammar.
      • The ability to change the brand voice and tone depending on the target audience.
      • Experience in creating content for display, social (organic and paid), event, email, and other digital performance marketing channels.
      • Experience in writing both short and long-form campaigns, as well as conceptual ones.
      • Experience in event concepts and experimental marketing campaign development.
      • Application of analytical and imaginative thinking to create memorable contents for brand and marketing strategies.
      • Capable of writing and refining copy for A/B product testing or performance-based marketing experiments.
      • Experience in content development for social campaigns on all major social networks.
      • Working knowledge of agile teams, including rapid iteration and adaptation.
      • Experience in working with external creative firms and freelancers.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • BA in English, Business, Journalism, Communication, or a related field.
      • 2-5 years of experience as a copywriter for an in-house creative team or agency (freelance experience is also acceptable).
      • Experienced in content production, with a portfolio of campaign work available.
      • Outstanding writing and verbal communication skills.
      • Familiarity with project management tools such as Workfront, ProofHQ, and Lytho, as well as a willingness to learn.
      • Proven expertise in copywriting, content editing, and concept development.
      • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
      • Participate in, follow, and support compliance program objectives.
      • The ability to continually work cooperatively and respectfully with coworkers.

      Work from Home Technology Requirements:

      • A safe home office free of background noise and distractions.
      • A stable private internet connection that does not use cellphone data or a hotspot.
      • A password-protected private network which you own or have control over every device on the network.
      • It is required that Internet service providers (ISPs) use fiber or cable to deliver internet service.
      • Hotspots and satellite services are disallowed because they do not match the performance standards required for optimal agent/customer interactions.
      • VPN download speeds from the ISP must be at least 5Mbps, with 10Mbps or higher ideal.

      • Both hardwired and wireless internet connections are permissible as long as the speed and security standards are met.
