Nobody has ever been glad a chat window opened by itself.
A site chatbot earns its place by being there at the moment someone gets stuck — not by ambushing them three seconds after arrival. Ours answers from your own pages, shows where the answer came from, and puts a person one click away.
In short: a chat widget grounded in your site’s own content. It answers questions your pages already answer badly or answer across four pages, admits when it doesn’t know, and hands to a person with the conversation attached. Placement and timing get as much attention as the answers, because that’s what decides whether anyone uses it.
Where and when it should appear
The default configuration on most chat products — pop open everywhere after a few seconds — is the reason people have learned to close them without reading. We do the opposite.
On pricing, sitting quietly
People on a pricing page have a specific question and often leave rather than ask it. A visible but closed bubble, with an opening line about pricing, converts better than anything that opens itself.
Deep in documentation or specs
Where the answer exists but is four scrolls down a long page. This is where a grounded bot genuinely beats the site’s own navigation.
At a checkout or form that stalls
Triggered by hesitation rather than by a timer — someone who has been on the same step for a while, or moved to leave. That’s a signal; arrival is not.
Not on the homepage, usually
Homepage visitors don’t yet know what to ask. Letting them get somewhere first produces better questions and fewer abandoned conversations.
It answers from your site, and says so
The bot is grounded in pages you choose — not the whole site by default, because most sites contain outdated pages nobody has retired. Every answer carries a link to where it came from, which does two things: it lets the visitor check, and it gets them onto the page that actually sells.
Asked something outside that material, it says it doesn’t know and offers a person. It does not fall back on general knowledge, because general knowledge about your delivery times is someone else’s delivery times.
What we won’t do
Demand an email before it helps
A gate before any value is a contact form wearing a chat costume, and visitors treat it as one. Help first; ask second, and only when there’s a reason.
Cover the page on mobile
A bubble that obscures the buy button or the phone number costs more than the bot earns. Mobile placement gets tested on real handsets before launch.
Slow the site down
Loaded after the page, never blocking it. A chat widget that costs you a second of load time is taking visitors away faster than it converts them.
How we measure it
Not on deflection. On whether conversations end with the person’s question answered, how many return with the same question, and what share of sampled answers were correct when a human graded them. The list of questions the bot couldn’t answer goes to whoever owns your content — it’s the best page brief you’ll get.

Which page do people leave from with a question?
That’s where the bot goes. Tell us the page and the questions you keep getting, and we’ll say whether a chatbot helps or whether rewriting that page would do it.
Almost never. Opening after a few seconds on every page is the default on most chat products and the reason visitors have learned to close them unread. A visible but closed bubble on the pages where people actually get stuck — pricing, long documentation, a stalled checkout — performs better, and hesitation is a far better trigger than arrival.
Where does it get its answers?
From pages you choose, not the whole site by default, since most sites contain outdated pages nobody has retired. Every answer links to its source, which lets the visitor verify it and moves them onto the page that actually sells. Asked something outside that material, it says so and offers a person rather than reaching for general knowledge.
Will it ask for an email before answering?
No. A gate before any value is a contact form wearing a chat costume, and visitors treat it as one. It helps first and asks second, when there is a reason to — after a genuine question has been answered and the conversation suggests interest.
Will it slow down our website?
It loads after the page rather than blocking it, and mobile placement is tested on real handsets so the bubble never covers a buy button or phone number. A widget that costs a second of load time removes more visitors than it converts.
